If I were going to make Philcon (*sighs* I miss Philcon) and it were your reading, I'd go. And at 9pm I might even get to leave the heckling committee (kids) with the husband!
Oh that's tough, I'll agree with the lot, and say I'd show for you, but I gotta think that this late in the game there will be more folks looking for you in the Meet the pros or at the bar then in a panel.
Let us know what you decide, we'll have scotch where ever you are!
I'm not gonna make it to Philcon but if I did, I might go to the reading. I usually arrive around 7/7:30, drop off stuff, get dinner and change, which puts me at loose ends around 9, and it's a little early for parties so program is a definite possibility. I never actually go to meet the pros, lord knows why. (Bar, yes. But it'll be there at 10.)
That's a tough choice. If the authors I wanted to see were at the meet n' greet, I'd go there. If someone I really liked, like you, was doing a reading, I'd go just to hear something new ahead of time. :>

Date: 2004-12-07 06:54 am (UTC)*sigh*
Maybe I'll just grab a corner of the hallway and stage an improvised reading, anyway.

Might even be a sex scene.
