In other news... it's damned early. The cats have already started their usual morning routine (Boomer's pounceful, Pandora's growling, they both think I exist solely to Make Much of them -- and they're right.). Welcome to Monday, ladies and gents.

It's pretty funny how cats act. DH (dear hubby) and I adopted 2 kittens, from Humane Society, 2 months ago and their morning routine consists of Isis waking hubby up by putting cold nose in his ear. DH opening up fridge, for caffeine fix, and Isis peeking in fridge with squinty eyes from light. DH turning on computer to check email while Isis climbs up on lap and insists on watching the mouse, on the screen. Osiris is napping still. Once Isis tires of that, she climbs on top of me asleep, to wake me up. I go turn on my computer and Osiris meows to get up on me to check my emails. Then I get Isis to meow at me cause she's not getting petted and they think it's time for food. Feed them, get ready for work, and tell them to be good during the day. (Of course, two kittens with the run of the house and no one to catch them doing something wrong is always getting in trouble.)
Don't ya just love cats :o)

HoC -- since you're reading "Clean up Your Room," here's a bit of amusement for you. My folks read all my work when it comes out, and my mom (also a writer) usually likes my stuff a lot. But that one, she just didn't 'get.'

A little while later, my dad took me aside and said "I know why she doesn't like it... you nailed her voice _perfectly_."

Oops. Hadn't even realized it. Really. :-)

You already got my attention by writing the muy nifty 'Staying Dead', which you did an excellent job of selling to me when I showed up to see Keith in Boston. It just took me *this* long from reading KRAD's journal that you were the authoress herself!

Or, actually I might have figured it out earlier, and then forgot when I went through a period of not reading for a while. But now that I know about Friend's pages, I wanted to tag yours so I never missed any interesting tidbits...not to mention updates on more Wren and Sergei...(already looking around for that third anthology... ;)
