Haven't watched it yet, so no idea. But honestly, when people get up in arms over things that happened this season that they never got up in arms over in previous seasons, makes me wonder if we watched the same show.
It's been going off book since season 2. And they said, as well as GRRM said in his blog, that this season would be the diverging from the books, since they're out of book source material. It amuses me how many missed that, the multiple times it was mentioned well before the season even started.
Other things they got upset over, they didn't get *near* as upset over in previous seasons. For example, Jaimie raping Cersei- it was complained about for a week or so, and I don't recall websites declaring they were done, done, DONE because iof it, unlike Sansa's rape (The MarySue declared that was it for them, they were done with GoT, period). It just makes no sense to me to be mildly angry over one event, but incandescent over that same type of event happening to another character. (I know, I know, preaching to choir...)
And yes, mocking them for saying they're done and yet they return the very next season. Goofy people.
Oh, and the ending! Ye gads, people, it happens like that in the book too, chill!

And this season, people are upset at how it's going off-book.
I don't occk people because they're upset: I mock them because they're upset, swear they're done...and then come back for more.
