Anyone in the Seattle/Portland area know of a reputable bear-repair shop? My beloved Teddy, who has been Adventuring with me for 40+ years now, has finally lost his grip (the cloth pads of his paws have all worn out), and he deserves the very best care…

Note: If you're going to get Teddy re-stuffed, make sure the restorer knows just how stuffed he needs to be. I took a favorite childhood doll to a doll doctor in Albuquerque, and when she re-stuffed her, she crammed too much stuffing in, and Suzie is no longer squeezable without threatening the seams.

Yeah, I was kind of hoping for someone who had actual experience with a place... Teddy is not to be trusted off a yellow pages ad. :-)

(and Dancing Dolls seems to specialize ONLY in dolls, not bears)


(and no, no restuffing needed, just a repawing, and possibly replace his missing eye, although I think he's quite rakish without it)
