Ah, December!  When creators remind you of how perfect THEIR stuff is for your gift-shopping list.... and yeah, I'll be guilty of it, too.

I must be the worst creator in the history of. I always forget to do this until way past the time when it would be useful. Perhaps you will be a shining example to me this year.

I always feel like I'm being an ass and an imposition.

Then I remind myself that I'm not famous, infamous, or already-best-selling (or in a relationship with a famous actor or politician etc etc) and if I don't do it, the kittens don't eat, so....
