The State of the Meerkat, Weekend Edition

So, normally I try to cram a lot into the weekend - socializing and working and chores and everything else I can think of.

Not so much this weekend.

Saturday I did some house-work, then went off to be Social for m'friend Raina's birthday.

This is what 40-something looks like. And some unknown but tasty shots for everyone at the bar...

Sunday was about messing with maps for the WiP (and massaging some historical facts for better storytelling), and rewatching season four of Leverage.  With luck, the brain will be properly primed to get back to writing on Monday...

Good weekend! Went to a pretty good burlesque show-and-dinner Friday night. Spent Saturday doing things about the house and saw Thor: The Dark World in the evening. Wrote 1200 words on the novel this morning, spent the rest of the day tidying and had dinner tonight with a friend. I'm not quite ready for the week ahead, but I'm feeling pretty accomplished, all in all.
