Okay, best pasta recently, anyway. And especially good when you're short on kitchen-time but your taste buds refuse the usual writer-on-deadline shoving of food into mouth.
Take two cloves of garlic. Chop fine. Simmer in quality olive oil until saturated. Add a sprinkling of minced chipolte. Cook short pasta until al dente (or mushy, if that's your preference). A twisted shape works best.
Splash warm oil over the pasta. Add fresh soft-grated parm cheese and a hint of black pepper. Consume.
(and felines like the smell, too)
