Because I've noted an interesting consistency in reactions, this is just for my own curiosity. You will not be graded (or judged) so please answer honestly...

All I do is walk (and physical therapy/stretching). I try to do ten thousand steps a day, which I achieve about four days out of seven. I am quite old enough to know how important it is to move, and keep moving, but exercise is just not in my life. Never has been. But I walk. New York is great for walking.

... At least when I'm more or less in shape. Re-starting the exercise regime is a different thing.

Generally go for a couple of walks (two miles +/-) around the neighborhood on the same day as my bike rides. Don't know if the tai chi counts, as it isn't hot 'n sweaty exercise.

Collapse in a sweaty heap, but not with beer. At least not usually. Maybe a big glass of tea.

Ditto. Also with much saying of "Ow." and general moaning and shuffling like an old person.

Yeah, me too. I usually go for water.

I come back from the gym and go straight to the fridge, often without even realizing what I am doing until I have food in hand.

I've learned to bring an apple with me to my workouts, so I can eat it IMMEDIATELY after and thus forestall doing exactly that thing myself. :)

I marked the first option, only I want to substitute "cold juice" for "cold beer." I'm always super-thirsty when I come back from a run, but I'm not a big fan of plain water. Juice is perfect, though. Especially coconut juice, which has become my go-to after excercise drink.

Mostly just "collapse in a sweaty heap". I drink lots of water while exercising, so afterwards I just want to exude the extra heat. I'd like to take a shower right away, but experience has taught me that I need to wait until I'm totally cooled down, because it's sad to still doing the post workout sweat after showering. I usually change out of my skimpy at-home exercise clothes to skimpier cooldown clothes and mindlessly poke at Facebook games in my iPad for a bit.

I chose the one that's merely gotten a plurality for me, and want to note that my reactions are vastly different based on the exercise done.

Yesterday's mud run, which was three miles and change and about an hour outside in the heat was very much a WHERE THE FUCK IS THE BEER TENT response (talking about having a cold one with fellow practitioners as a motivational method late in the goings-on undoubtedly influenced this, and the free bottle of water and banana they gave finishers was wholly insufficient).... whereas after a lifting session, hot or cold, my body is PROTEIN SHAKE, NOW, AND MAKE WITH THE GRILLED STUFF SOONEST.

Hours later, if it was an arduous workout, I will sleep soundly.

There are occasional days where "fuck yeah, let's just keep going, I still feel great" is in the cards; I wish they were more often.

Walking is the only exercise I get. Occasionally (a couple times a day), I will take the stairs at work (I work on the 5th floor). I wish the fitbit would publish those - I do a minimum of 15 floors a day and usually closer to 25 or 30 since I have a multi-story house, too.
