I believe you'd have to recut the whole thing down to 100x100p and re-animate it. You can't just shrink an animated gif, because it's a bunch of different images, and just shrinking it only captures one of them.
Oh, I see why, too - it's too big, nearly 200 k, and LJ wants something littler. Hold a moment... ETA: not sure how to get it down to the size they want without making it too teeny to see. Alas!
Oh, don't give up just yet! You may be able to drop the resolution on the gif without losing too much fidelity. I'll take a closer look if you'd like. (after I get the toddler to fall asleep! Wish me luck!)
