That was the weekend that..wait, what?

This was a weird weekend, in that I look back on it basically as this long lazy blur. In fact I did do many things, and Accomplished, and Was Social, and yet my overall feeling is mainly... what the hell happened to my weekend?

This may or may not have anything to do with the fact that Friday night started off with martinis. I like classic martinis*. They... are mean to me. It's probably not a healthy relationship. But I vaguely remember having a lot of fun with friends old and new...

And Saturday was good conversations, and puppy-time, and Turkish food, and Turkish wine, and Sunday was Actual Exercise, and brunch, and some work, and... all of a sudden it's Sunday night and I guess that's where my weekend went. Huh.

And I owe y'all two coffee reports, if anyone's actually following along....





*shaken not stirred, a twist of lemon peel no olives.

I'd meant to ask you about what wines you'd recommend I check out, as our local wine festival was this past weekend, but I forgot.

But I did discover some nice tawny ports, some way out of my price range....
