cats literary and philosophical
Jul. 30th, 2012 06:24 pmAw, Diabolical Plots says some nice things about my "Mad Cats and Englishmen." I purr.
"On the surface, using Oliver as the stories protagonist seems odd and unnecessary, but as I was reading the tales climatic scene, I concluded that using a talking cat as the narrator was a stroke of brilliance."

and speaking of cats...
I have lived with these two cats for plus or minus a decade, each. They have lived together for seven years. I kind of understand why they prefer to have their dishes near wherever I'm working/eating (the dog does the same thing. It's weird pack behavior). But I still don't understand why they're so determined to eat each othr's food when it is and always has been identical to what's in their dish...

Date: 2012-07-30 10:30 pm (UTC)(What I don't understand is how come Mac is suddenly allowed to finish Barry's gushyfudz in the morning, and Baz is allowed to finish Mac's kibble in the evening. It's ... bizarrely equitable. I am disturb. Is there a secret treaty somewhere, signed in kitty-blood...?)
