This is getting a little silly...

So last week I left some things (including my boots) at my folks' place. I emailed my mom to say I'd be in their neck of the woods today, so should I swing by to pick up my stuff?

I got this response:

Please get your things! For two nights after you left, the dog slept in the hall at the front door, waiting for you to come. When you didn't, she just started sleeping in the living room on your shoes. I moved them to my closet and she now sleeps in the closet.

Apparently, if my things are there, that means I should be there, too. And she will wait, damnit, until I appear.

MuppetDog. Oy.

(when i did arrive, she went into her usual frenzy, brought me her newest toy, and then went to sit at my dad's feet. I'm loved, but he was eating and might drop something on the floor. Her priorities are intact.)

My cat is currently staying with my parents, and if she hears me on the phone, she will start looking for me. :)
