And, okay, here's another post for a rainy Saturday, just so I can share the fabulousness that is this cover.

...and hint at the fabulousness inside. Seriously. There isn't much that could get me to say "sure, I'll write an RPG tie-in story..." except this world. OMG this world, how could I NOT?   Also, check that ToC.  Just check it out.  Rockin'.

"Sometimes there wasn’t nobody in the Bazaar needed to escape, even for a bit, or the things they offered didn’t interest him none. Then he played for free, letting the notes screech and scamper like those newsboys on a tear, hot flash fading to slow cool, coaxing sounds he hadn’t known existed out of the battered metal, setting them free and returning for more." -- from "Don't Toot Your Horn" by yrs trly

[and, damn it, I came up with characters that SHOULD be in this world, but didn't fit into my story, and now I have no idea what to do with them so you MUST make this a bestseller so they will ask me to write another story. Seriously.]

Evil Hat Games does some pretty amazing work. I have Spirit Of The Century in PDF and the Dresden Files RPG in hardcover.

No, but I'm at my usual level of impressed now that I have. I'm a bit more interested in the Dresdenverse than I am in the SotCverse.

Still, decopunk rocks! Perhaps that universe needs an Ayn Rand style super-not-quite-a-villain story in it somewhere, with a Tesla analog, and some interesting commentary on colonialism versus capitalism versus communism.

Is there going to be a dead tree version, or just ebook?

Also, I'm reminded of the acknowledgments in Diane Duane's first Star Trek tie-in novel, which included a bunch of quotes from other SF/F authors. Including Jane Yolen's "You're doing what? Can I get shots for that?" :) (Wording approximate of course.)

We'll at least provide a dead tree version on our webstore at www.evilhat.com/store -- print on demand makes such things possible. :)
