Anyone else wondering if Dick(ish) Cheney's new heart is currently doing its damnedest to reject its new surroundings? "Get me out! I can't work in here!"

Or - is the body going "what the hell is this? I don't need this, get it out, ew ick!"


I will not comment on the fact that he got a heart while someone else didn't, after a (relatively) short time on the list. I'm just going to hope that he was the nearest best match and nobody else's chances would have been better (yeah, I know. Leave me this one delusion, ok?)

You know all those rumors about the new CERN particle accelerator possibly creating a black hole that would swallow the earth, instead of just finding proof for the Higgs boson? Is it a coincidence that those rumors reached their height twenty months ago? I think not: During a routine physical, I have faith* that physicians had discovered the black hole in Cheney's thoracic cavity, and this is just an attempt to appease the elder gods by throwing a still-beating heart into it.

After that mashup, I obviously need more caffeine.

At least I no longer have to resort to my proposed defense against charges under Article 88, UCMJ: "Your Honor, that is not possible. I do not hold him in contempt. He is beneath contempt."

more than only spending 20 months on the list (I do hope he got a heart from a person of color and a Democrat) I hope he paid his own medical bills, and not on the govts dime.
