I just got the following email from my editor: "I finished the ms. last night and it’s really good; little revising is needed!"
and my first thought? "Oh god, she's skimping, she didn't really read it that closely....it needs a LOT more work! You need to hate it more! I can only make it better if you hate it properly!"
Yeah. It's like that. *facepalms, goes back to work*
(I'm extremely pleased that she likes the book. I'm just...yeah. Like that.)
