Had a lovely, lovely stay in the Pacific Northwest, thanks in no small part to my Twinling and her fabulous family, who put up with me, and mocked me, and let me hang out with them (and the dogs. And the cat). I've now watched more college football than I have since the early 1990's but hey, it didn't hurt at all. :-)

And I can now - thanks to [livejournal.com profile] katatomic - say that I've been to the Space Needle like a proper tourist!  (ok, it was partially research.  But partially touristing, too)

I even, thanks to the mini-retreat prior to playing, got almost 20,000 words written in three days.

But now I am home, and glad to be there.  And looking at a LOT of work to dive into.  *rubs hands, gets on that*

Hope everyone had a great start to the New Year!

found in a "local crafts" gift shop.  We spent some time horrified over the probable frog bar this was created for....

That frog statue... Um, no. I really don't wanna go there.

Oh great; now I can't get an R-rated version of the bar from The Muppet Movie --the one where Kermit meets Fozzie-- out of my head.

Awww, now I wanna go! I'll have to see if Clive (and our wallets) have a trip to Seattle in us this year.
