lagilmanStill head-foggy, still throat-scratchy, despite 8-ish hours of sleep. Meh. Freelancers get no sick days, tho... and so work starts soon's caffeine kicks in.

"I initially wanted to read Flesh and Fire because it is a fantasy novel centered around wine, and I thought it sounded like fun. What I got was so much more than that, though."
*is really rather smugly and unapologetically pleased.* I love it when a reader connects with a story so perfectly, to the point where something they dislike personally, they acknowledge as being the right thing for the story.
