Any idea how much the Vineart War h/c set would cost to ship over here? Doesn't need to be air shipping, I'm just pained by how much trans-pondian shipping comes to.

(If we were getting to Rome, we could have arranged a handover there. But sadly, we're not.)

No idea, offhand. The books are kinda heavy. But something can be Worked Out, if there's not a rush.

Indeed, no rush. I already have presents sorted for this Christmas. This is more getting Nice Things™ into the pipeline: so long as good stuff keeps arriving at regular intervals, it doesn't matter too much if it's been theoretically available for a month or three. Particularly in a case where I could have had it already if I'd got my round tuit out and sorted out my wish lists.

(The other end of that is reading stuff before it's finished. I've just read the first 50 pages of a novel whose author has just decided he's junking what he's written and restarting it. It will be interesting to compare the before and after, but there's an odd effect in reading when you remember episodes that didn't happen.)

I'm pretty sure you're too organised for this to have fallen down any cracks, but just in case: let me know when you have a shipping cost, and I can PayPal you.

(My bank issues cheques, your bank accepts checks. This strikes me as a basic mismatch that I'd prefer to avoid.)
