So. Do y'all want to hear about the Kickstater progress?
My ongoing opinion on and involvement with the protests?
The status of the Other Writing projects (the mystery and the urban fantasy)?
The cats?
What I'm cooking?

I mean, I'm perfectly capable about blathering about them all, but I'm noting some response-fatigue, if not outright tl;dr, and since responses are the only way to really gauge interest...

and ok, ok - kitten picspam!

My writing buddy, glareful.

No one is posting anywhere, and no one is responding anywhere, so far as I can see. I think Facebook is hiding my friends from me.

I love to hear about the writing and How It Goes, and food, always.

How are the cats? I am in the war room, and my cats are making themselves very felt. (It's cold and damp here, so laps are in demand.)

I am fascinated by my friends' Kickstartery, and watching progress always makes me happy (I am capable of spending a whole flight watching that little map refresh, with the miniature airplane saying "you are here" and all the numbers about how far you've come and where you're going and so forth. Tho' I'm still not sure why they bother to tell you about the temperature outside). I don't - of course! - believe that I myself have friends enough to make it viable for me, but I did find myself thinking about it in the dead of the night just gone. Thinking that if I ever sold the Spicefarers fantasy, I could do a Kickstarter project with recipes. And people who contributed higher amounts could receive jars of chutney and such. And if anyone gave mad amounts, I could cook a dinner...

So yeah, progress reports always welcome (as well as being handy reminders to the laggardly, to contribute). And I'd love to hear more about your engagement with the protests; and the status of other projects is always interesting; and how dare you hold out on us, in re cats and cooking? Tell us all, we demand it...

Cooking is welcome. I live in a houseful of mundane picky eaters who don't wash dishes, and that combines to make me less exploratory about food than I would like to be.

Writer Kitteh doesn't look entirely pleased.... you must have been delinquent in your scritchies to take the picture.

Oh, just saw these - I had to order a pair:

Yes, please post! I enjoy reading about your life, and I try to imagine myself with characters and plot bunnies demanding to be written.

I enjoy reading all of the above. I'm just not responding much as I'm thick in the middle of a writing project that has completely eaten my brain.

(And just so you know, I do plan to donate to the Kickstarter project as soon as I'm able, I'm just flat-ass broke at the moment.)

It's your blog, you should write whatever you want and it would be foolish not to advertise the writing. But the cooking and OWS are my two top interests.

Post away, girlfriend, on whatever topics you like. I may not always respond, but I'm always interested. Since you asked about specifics, I admit interest in your participation in the protests. I've seen few first-person accounts and I'm curious about your experiences.

I read everything but frequently can't muster the energy to comment or don't think I have anything that's even marginally worth posting ... so, whatever you think is interesting probably is.

Post responses are way down. Of course, so is my posting, but there's cause and effect going both ways there too. I dunno why, unless LJ has finally tapped out of the social media.

All of the above, please! As everyone else has said, I may not comment often but I'm reading regularly and find it all very interesting. Also, moar kittehs plez!
