And now I must put Pandora back in her carrier (oy) and haul her back to the vet (oy) and shove her under various machines. And then go buy her a pack of the one treat she deigns to eat, in abject apology to the Duchess' offended dignity...

I once got as far as starting to dismantle the plug on something before I realised that the reason it wasn't working was that the lead I thought belonged to it (and had been plugging in) was in fact attached to a different thing altogether.
