Feline Update
Jul. 14th, 2011 01:04 pmAnother day, another 90 minutes spent at the vet's.
Pandora's showing distinct signs of retina problems as well as the heart murmur, which suggests hypertension. This could explain her discomfort - basically, she's getting headaches. Poor baby, I can so relate.
We've already ruled out hyperthyroidism, and primary hypertension's rare in cats, so the kidneys are the likely culprit. *sighs* On the plus side, she's not showing ANY signs of renal failure.
So tomorrow afternoon I bring her back to the vet, when the specialist is in, and she gets to be hooked up not only to the EKG, but the BP machine, too. Best case scenario is medication the rest of her life. Like human, like feline...
And now I have to go submit myself to the vampires/medical testing as well.
This week? Is pretty much FIRED.

Luck! and here's hoping you can figure out what's going on and fix it.
