lagilmanHow hot did it get today? Hot enough that the air felt like shoving your body into a pizza oven. Hot enough that sitting outside in the shade, you still were drenched in sweat. Hot enough that I've broken out my tropical gear.
Yes, it's true. I'm sitting here, drinking chilled Scotch (placed in the freezer for a minute, rather than adding ice cube melt), wearing a pāreu. I suppose, to make the mood complete, I should be drinking a frothy island drink (aka "boat drink") but it was just too much effort to get the blender out.
Maybe tomorrow.
This afternoon - after determining that the heat had stolen my brain - I repotted all the green things as needed repotting, and sorted the bookshelves to look a little less cluttered. Now, with the Evil Glowing Thing down for the night and a faint breeze coming through the newly-lifted shades, it's time for Vampire-Writer to rise....
