If I hadn't thought it looked well, I wouldn't have worn it (although I wish I'd had time to prep a proper hairstyle for the dress). The proper owner of the dress will do it even more honor, tho.

As long as you felt good and comfortable in it. I've yet to really get used to dressing fancily, at least fancy by men's admittedly simpler standards.
