Sunday (or: The Day After Draft)

Slept until nearly 9am. Woke on my back, cats sprawled on either side & had flash to Egyptian mummies & crypt carvings. That kind of set the tone for the day. But not in a bad way.....


Ran some errands. Read a book (an entire book. In one day. Such a rare luxury!). Did some cleaning, often interrupted by sitting down in the sunlight with a cat at my feet and a cat on my lap. Made a quick dinner of linguini with EVOO, garlic, sardines and za'tar that was so good I wish I'd made more. Did not break detox for a glass of wine, tho sore tempted (day 4 of what would normally be 7, but since Passover's this week... not so much with the 7).

Squelched any thoughts of projects, writing, books, or OMGFuturePanicCareer. Monday comes soon enough for all that.

And tonight... a movie (since I don't have HBO and nobody local* invited me over to watch GoT). Time to see what Netflix has on streaming....








*a friend in another boro invited me, but w/ late night subway work, getting home would have taken me 2x as long as normal. Not good, at midnightish.

I don't have HBO either, but figure I can rent the DVD when it comes out. Still...:-(

The Guy -thinks- he was able to DVR it for me. His skill with tech is... occasionally dubious, tho. *grins*

I'm amazed. Normally it takes me a week, minimum, finding time between everything else....
