She was a helluva actor, on a level far above most people. Seeing her in Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf was something amazing.

And above that, she was a great advocate for AIDS research and safe sex.

I still watch Giant once a year or so.

It's what I call my "sick movie." If I catch a bad cold and up on the couch, I'll have JC put Giant into the DVD player.

But I also love A Place in the Sun, and I've seen that several times.
