from WorldCon...
Sep. 3rd, 2004 06:31 amI'm awake. I resent being awake. Silly body, don't you know it's WorldCon?
I shall file a trip report at some point, but for now I'll just say "I'm alive! I'm exhausted! I have spent a lot of time in the bar!" And I love my friends; they are cool and get me oj and crackers when the silly suri has a sugar crash...

Date: 2004-09-04 05:15 am (UTC)Wild ride, this worldcon. So damn busy, and I keep hearing that other people are here too but you'd never know it from me having seen them. I may need to sleep for a week after, rather than my usual two days....

I think that's why I stopped doing WorldCon--had to choose for price between WFC and WSFC, and it seemed like I was always just missing people. Sounds like you have a lot of great panels going on, tho, and I've always wanted to do Boston. I was there when I was two weeks old, apparently, but the trip eludes me... %^)
This year, I'm too damned tired. Hoping all this stuff kicks in soon, or it's second opinion time. Someone put a great advice piece on their LJ about "attending your first WorldCon"--several times it stressed the need for sleep in regular intervals. Even a nap-- So don't forget! Meerkats run in packs so others can watch while they sleep!
