Any time you say "why bother" or "what will it change," my answer is "how will you know unless you try?" Watching this is just as amazing as anything going on around the world: people taking back their power.

EtA: one GOP senator has announced he will not vote for the bill. They only need two more to change their mind. Also, they have won the right to stay another night, rather than being forced out.

Their connection was cut; they're trying to get it restored. It was from Madison, of the protesters resisting removal. Chants of "This is what democracy looks like" and "peaceful protest," and at least once the entire rotunda singing the last lines of the Star Spangled Banner."
