Wednesday much like a Monday....

This morning I woke up at 5:30, threw some food in the direction of mom-I'm-hungry-mom! yowling of Boomer, and went back to sleep. I slept until 8am, which is unheard of for me (unless I'm sick). I refuse to be sick. There is Too Much To Be Done.

There. I have said it. I am completely physically healthy.

Managed to stagger into the kitchen, where the coffee maker played its occasional trick, the filter off center by 1/8th of an inch and causing the entire pot to overflow into a mess of grounds and murky water. Maybe I should have stayed in bed until 9?

Clean-up achieved and second pot commenced, Eldest Cat starts yowling, the sad, pitiful noise that makes me certain she has slipped over the edge into full-blown dementia. But no, when I twig to a possible cause and put the suitcase back into its usual "I'm not going anywhere" spot, she quieted right down. Then the phone rang....

So now you know what my morning has been like. I see no reason to suspect it will get any calmer past 10....

She tries to hide in the suitcase while I pack. Then she bitches me out when I come back.

my stepmom would always prep her coffee maker the night before, because she knew that the morning undead might make mistakes.

My sister got me a copy of the new book, but she didnt bring it by yesterday, she is making me wait until today at some time to get it.

Really! You should know better than to put the suitcase out of its "required" spot. LOL
