Persephone (the quick update)
Aug. 29th, 2004 08:36 amThree days of the perfect writer-life (a fully-stocked kitchen, a hot tub, a variety of quiet places to write, smart minds to bounce things off of, and a guy who gets up early every morning to make the coffee and then goes away) draws to a close. Damn.
It's been good. It's been productive. It's been instructive. It's been exhausting in that way that is also energizing. And the signing on Friday night at the Annapolis B&N went really well (and not just because I was given a lovely birthday present, either, she said, waving at her Saints).
Will hit the road after brunch to meet up with
kradical in Arlington to be interviewed for FAST FORWARD, and then home. I suspect the cat will be rather peevy when I come in the door. Nobody tell her I'm leaving again for WorldCon in a few days...
