Yeah. It is hard to shake the whole "internet pioneers together and they send me presents at christmas" memory, but they have not even pretended to have my best interests at heart as a customer or an author.

That's a pretty disturbing story. Pretty soon they're going to outsource writing to China so they can pay a tenth of a penny a word to Chinese English majors.
