Ah, family:

from my sister, commenting on my mom's email style: "I love...your incredible narrative style combining chekov and ephron."

Which, y'know, really nails it dead.

Meanwhile, I am contemplating trying to roll out 365 bits of writing advice, starting January 1. Or is that far too ambitious for peripatetic me, and I should go for a more manageable 52 Bits?

365? O.O I'm having trouble imagining 365 bits of advice about *anything*.

Or will it be things like "That adverb there? Yes, that one. Is it really, really necessary?"

In that case, I'd be fascinated to see it!

Is there any reason not to do the 52 bits, with bonuses for random reasons?

Advice is good. You eating is better.

how much detail would you go into with those pieces of advice? No sense in overburdening yourself any more than usual.

Man, I throw you a softball, and you pass on it. I must be losing my touch.

I think the "one a day" is fine, given your parameters.

If you can limit your time and you've got a reasonable amount of inventory already stored up that you can use, then go for it.
