so, how was YOUR Monday?
Nov. 2nd, 2010 07:16 ammine went a lot like this:
*writewritewritewrite*
3,500 words and chapter one all drafted out, yay! feeling good, feeling good, oh hello twitter, what --
What. The. Hell?
Hey. I cry foul!

*is very very very annoyed*
Yeah, I know, can't copyright ideas, modern setting covers all asses, and Hollywood don't care. But it's not like there's a huge amount of "magic in the vines" story ideas out there that I'm not smelling something vaguely piscine in the air.
Oh hai, Hollywood. You couldn't at least have bought me dinner and flowers, first?
So when someone mentions that new NBC "wine magic" series in your hearing, y'all know what to say, right? "Gee, that sounds a lot like the idea behind... great books, you should read them."
Meanwhile, today I plan to
a)vote voted.
b) write another few-three thousand words on Bonnie#4
c) take the rest of the day off for Life, which will make me a much happier meerkat.
oh, and d) clean the ()*^& malware off my desktop. Someone who is not me went to websites they should not have, apparently. All guests shall henceforth be required to bring their own damn laptops. Grrrr. (EtA: so far the malware scan has eaten 90 minutes of prime writing time where I can't access my files. I am really, really cranky.)
