no, there is too much, let me sum up.
Oct. 29th, 2010 12:56 amAnd lo, the signing and book-supporting portion of this month have come to an end. Kudos to the folk at B&N who were so kind to have me in, the folk who came out to support me, the folk who wandered by for the candy and stayed to talk about the books, and most especially Ashley and Dori, who ferried me about and kept me entertained and well-fed.
And OMG especially the folk at Rockbridge and Fox Meadow Vineyards, who, in addition to having excellent taste in reading material, also make some damn fine wines.
If folk who missed the signings would like copies, you can call either the Harrisonburg or Charlottesville (VA) B&Ns and ask for one to be sent to you. I'm not sure how many FLESH AND FIRE are left (there was only 1 at the end of tonight's signing) but there are a few copies of WEIGHT OF STONE still looking for good homes.... remember, signed books make great holiday presents! And they're easy to wrap!
Tomorrow (okay, later today), I head back to Maryland for the Rally for Sanity, and then homeward bounding...well, okay, tiredly dragging home to mes chats et mon cher. As lovely as the trip has been, as much fun as the rally will be, I am not ashamed to admit that I want to be home. Yeah.
and for those of you wondering what it's like to be caught in the middle of a papparazzi frenzy...
