greetings from Los Angeles!

As you can see from the header, we have arrived in Los Angeles, settled comfortably in koimistress's lovely home (although absent koimistress who is at work). A full telling of the trip shall follow in due course, but for now let's just say that the soundtrack has been Warren Zevon, the weather has been perfect if way too damn sunny, and the folk at Borderlands (owners and customers) were most hospitable. And I still have a whole boatload of work I'm supposed to be getting done glaring at me from the pile next to my suitcase, so that's all the telling for now.

I'm also not getting a hell of a lot of sleep, but I expected that.

One of my favorite things about LJ is the names people choose for themselves. Suri, greeneyedkzin, Coy mistress indeed (!) and Kradical. It cheers me, and I am in need of cheering.

The peanut gallery here in the East sends love and hugs and wishes for many book purchases. Cafe Press assures me my tee shirt and magnets are on the way.
