for those wondering how a winner was chosen, I asked five people to pick a number between 1 and maximum number of eligible entries. I then wrote down the name of the person who had that entry number, and then scattered the slips in front of the Oracular Cat. The one she pounced on first, won. It's a strange system, but it seems to work...
