Weather report: muggy with a side of warm.
Wrist report: in brace.
Mood report: short, with an extra heaping of "don't be stupid near me, please."

Only 1,200 words for the morning. Have written myself into a dead end three times on this chapter. Am giving up, leaving the scaffolding in place, and moving on to the next chapter. Some days, that's all you can do. Have, after a burst of shower-driven inspiration, hit my 3,000 word mark and am letting the wrist rest while I hit the rest of the to-do list.

A random check on stats revealed, much to my surprise and minor freakout, that Pack of Lies (Bonnie #2) is already up for pre-order on Amazon & BN.com. It's not out until February 1!

On the plus side, a little Twitter-networking has resulted in me picking up a side gig with the company doing the Leverage RPG game, to do a quick-hit episode rundown. So I need to sit down and carefully rewatch S1 and S2 of Leverage. Oh, the trauma...

And A Contest is in the works for the end of August. Hang tight and all will be revealed... (you'll want to be here for that one, trust me!)
