And stairs will become even more dangerous than they already are... Mooncat not only likes to sit in front of the monitor, she likes to snooze on the stairs or play ankle-winding while her humans try to use them.

I don't know how much help a translucent cat would be. I mean, you'd know whether the monitor was on or not, but that's about it. What we really need is a *transparent* cat. Or in my case, a dog whose front feet can't leave the floor.

If they're transparent, you won't see them on the stairs, and people will break necks. Translucent, at least I could see most of the screen, if blurry/blocked.
