As far as clothing goes, be yourself. Wear what you want. If you like the idea of leather that day, go for leather. If you want to wear a "Got Geek?" t-shirt and jeans, that's fine too. Don't let me try to tell you what to wear.

But you might as well feed the anticipation with Weight of Stone. Not like I'll be there, but I'm sure some fans will.

Oh, at least give me a mulligan on that one. It's Friday, I've been dealing with mice in the basement the past two weeks, it's 94 out, and I'm beat.

I think HARD MAGIC is best suited to being read out loud, as long as you can do the voice characterizations tolerably well.

Summer at KGB? Leather? Aaarrrrrggh. (Sound of a reader melting into a pool of sweat). Wear something suitable to the probable temp and humididity conditions in a crowded room where the air doesn't move much. But you know that :-)

Harriet, who remembers going to hear Ebear one summer night.

(Just tried to leave an anonymous comment, sorry, wasn't logged in).

As I just said anonymously, you know what that upper room at KGB is like in summer -- so go for the cool in every sense of the word :-)

I think you shouldn't give readings at all, because it just makes the rest of us envious. Envy being a sin, and all . . .

I will vote for something that you love and are comfortable wearing. The last thing one need when "on stage" is uncomfrtable clothing and/or shoes.

I went with one book that's out (immediate sales) and one book coming out (build anticipation). Plus reading from two different series shows breadth of ability and range...

For what it's worth, some of us are totally going to hear you read!
