And in that box there were ARCs for WEIGHT OF STONE.

Okay, these are the seriously UNcorrected ARCs, and gods help the reviewer who tries to quote some of this stuff, 'cause I did some serious surgery on them, but holyfuckyes it's Almost A Book.
We're 2/3 of the way through the journey.
and here's the cover copy, which I did not write*, and is a) wildly purple, b) vaguely inaccurate and c)vaguely spoilery, but pretty cool for all that....
Jerzy, Vineart-apprentice and former slave, was sent by his master to investigate strange happenings in the Lands Vin -- and found himself the target of betrayal. Now he must set out on his own journey, to find the source of the foul taint that threatens to destroy everything he holds dear. For two millennia one commandment has kept the lands Vin in order: Those of magic shall hold no power over men. Those of power shall hold no magic. Now that law has given way.
