I know you and other authors have been very upset with Amazon's actions in the past few months. If I was looking to purchase your new book (yes, I am behind, I'm sorry) do you get decently compensated for Kindle Sales vs. other editions? You are one of the business savvier authors, so I was wondering if you knew (or care). :)

As per my current contract, an e-book is an e-book is an e-book in terms of royalties -- which is to say, not a hell of a lot of that money goes to me, but the format doesn't change the percentage.

And hey, never apologize for being behind in reading! It gives me a chance to write a few books ahead and catch a breathing space (you guys read a hell of a lot faster than I can write!)

In my family, we celebrate Parental Appreciation Day, which is on a sliding scale somewhere between Mother's Day (and my mom's birthday) and Father's Day (and my dad's birthday in August). No cards, Hallmark or otherwise, allowed.
