What a brilliant idea! So much has been written about GETTING an agent, but this... I haven't any tidbits, but your uncannily helpful timing earns you an Awesomely if Unintentionally Apropos Mentor to Saladin virtual ribbon. Hmm. Do you mean, a "I made this mistake so you won't have to" sort of tidbit? Or a "My God, it's full of stars!" tidbit?

Neither, really. The first one is about how you relate to your agent in terms of time- and ego- management, the second will be how you recognize there may be trouble in paradise, and the third is probably going to be about the odd triangle of author-editor-agent.

There may be more after that -- we'll see how it goes.
