Only about 1100 new words on TVW#3, but it was a scene of careful picking rather than mad rushng so... am not too displeased. Still on schedule.

I'm sympathetic to everyone who is stranded or otherwise disrupted by the smoke, obviously. But it's a good reminder that the things we take for granted? Not so much. Still not King o the World.

I buy ebooks and reformat them so they'll look right on my ereader, so I know how tedious formatting is - and that's a book that's already mostly formatted properly :p

I was watching the volcanic eruption and thinking about the ripple effect one event has throughout the world. There are times when technology can bind us more tightly than we realize, and only the absence of the benefits of tech -air travel and other things, in this case- hammers that home.

Apparently the non-BlueRay doesn't have all the promised Extras, so only a few (dozen) times. And no, I am NOT going to buy the "enhanced" DVD with the extras when it comes out. The studio can bite me.

I have checked out all the ebook places that take PayPal and none of them have it for preorder. So I wait. If I don't find it I am going to have to go out and get a real paper copy. LOL I live in Canada so not as easy as it sounds. And a lot more expensive.

Are you talking about "Stories" or Hard Magic? Hard Magic may not be available as an e-book until May (it shouldn't be, really, since the publication date is May, not April...)
