Returned rental car. Came home. Swarmed by cats who thought I'd Gone Away Again. Cats are low-maintenance again...how?

Car gone, groceries delivered, social and familial obligations met. The quiet routine of homahgawdsomuchwork! falls over me once again.

Meanwhile, it's That Day again. I admire a good hoax* or well-played joke as much as the next troublemaker, but oftentimes I feel like That Day just brings out the bad stuff, so the good ones get overlooked or squashed in among the dreck. Plus, too often, there are folk who don't know the difference between a spoof and a hurtful thing, and waaay too many folk out there who don't engage their brains at all, and then get angry because they were fooled and/or panicked.

So go, have fun... but be careful out there.

ETA: I was just invited to join a "Save Guam" FB page. And my first thought, I swear to you, was "I don't think I have the right size of Tupperware..."

*(fortunately, in the first instance, I know to approach with caution Anything Mary Says starting 12:01 on 1 April. And still she almost got me with the first paragraph)
