The snowing-but-not-sticking meme from today has turned into "hello, baby blizzard."

Not having to go anywhere is letting me enjoy how gorgeous the storm is - the snow has turned the city into a b&w photograph, sharp black lines & muted white shadows, w/ a soundtrack of muted wind & slow traffic. There are Plots afoot for sledding tomorrow, but in the meanwhile I've thrown an extra blanket for the kittens, and prepped the needful things in case we lose power.

If you're out in this, be careful.

Lovely storm. I'd be happy for it to be the last one of the season, though. Take it north to New England, if you must have another go-round.

So called 'rain all day' here is suspiciously white and lumpy, AND I can't see across the yard. Some rain!
