lagilman: coffee or die (just sayin' - Nate)

I went and supported Big Pete at his KGB reading (and got my copy of A DARK MATTER signed and got to do my usual dorky fangrrrl OMG I know Peter Straub and he knows me flailing like I'm 12 (and never mind I've known him for like a decade because he's Peter Fucking Straub), and it was almost worth missing Leverage, especially since I'd gone and spoiled myself beforehand so if y'all want to do your incoherent flailing and WTFing here, feel free...

I'll join you a soon as I grab a d/l.

Okay, two thoughts:

1. an entire nation of fanficcers at once screamed in agony, and said a heartfelt "thank you" to the Leverage team.
2. this was the mirror image of "The Second David Job," in that Sterling's plan required Nate Ford to act exactly as his (observed, predicted) inner character required...and Nate didn't.
"Who the hell is this guy?"
"I don't know."

For all that I enjoyed it a great deal, I didn't loved it, mainly because it had the feel of "okay, this is how we're going to set up season three." But it was also 2am when I watched it, and my feelings may change when I rewatch. And even with those caveats, it was still, well, Leverage. My own personal crack. :-)

And I have a signed copy of A DARK MATTER to reward me when I finish all the shit I have to do. *pets book* Good day all around. VERY good day all-around. :-)

I used to d/l US TV shows like Castle, Dexter and Leverage, then Popfiend linked to this site:

Legal (as far as I can tell), and no need to DL anything.

I watched it first broadcast. I screamed, had throat lumps, got teary, and generally reacted EXACTLY the way Rogers & Co wanted me to react. I feel like such a puppet.

But, you know, in a GOOD way.
