Finished the first draft of FIRE BREAK this afternoon, making it 13,000 brand new words in five days. If I could just do that every week...

It's still messy and in dire need of some restructuring, but I like this story a lot. Is it Great Literature? No. But it's a fun romp with a serious layer underneath that you can think about, or not, as you choose.

Now I get to return my attention to the Paris 24 story, and the final readthrough for PACK OF LIES. Goal for completion: Tuesday.

Unfortunately, all this productivity comes at a cost. Am having to triage my life, and decide what's really most important, time/energy/enthusiasm-wise. Some decisions easy, some not so much....
