Alas, no Australian WorldCon for me. I looked at the finances, and the available time, and regretfully had to pass. NASFiC is still a possibility. Oh, and if you're in Paris/northern France, I'll be there in September/October... (Yes, a vacation. Mostly. Stef, I know your schedule is crazed, but check your calender anyway...)


As always, all dates are subject to a drastic and sudden change of plans.

That link was awesome. Pat has been an embarrassment for decades, and I'm ashamed to admit that a certain percentage of my extended family still think he's the bee's knees.

Damn. WFC at the end of October is becoming increasingly impossible to turn down, but I have no idea what's going to happen between now and then -jobwise, familywise, and other miscellaneous surprises- that I can't commit to anything. Yet.

Capclave and WFC right now are still on the "probable but not definite" list for me. Much depends on how the first half of the year goes, and what my schedule looks like. But I do love WFC particularly, and would be sad to miss it.

Yeah, what makes this hard is that WFC up in Columbus is probably going to be the closest the con is physically going to get to my location, since I doubt Cincy will ever get the con. (Of course, I said that about the NAACP national convention, and we ended up landing it in 2008.)
