Snowpocalypse?

8am, and while snow is reported heavy down in DC, and just reaching Asbury Park, NJ, there is none yet sighted in the city. However, the squirrels who are normally up and about at this point are nowhere to be seen, and I trust their forecasting more than I do the weathercritters...


The plan for today is to bake, clean, and write. And possibly meet friends for dinner downtown, assuming the snow is less than 6" at that point. We Shall See.

snowpocalypse. I like it. I shall use it.

I guess I shall finally accept that were ARE getting snow - and lots of it, if the reports coming out of DC and Philly are any indication.

Snowpocalypse sounds much cooler than 'Great White Death'.

We're on the extreme western edge of the storm out here in Cincy, and you'd think that the world has come to an end. Sheesh; we don't even have any black ice around that usually accompanies these storms.

We've already got about a foot accumulation, and we are expecting at least a foot more. I don't think I'll be going in to work on Monday (my confidence in the State of Maryland is that low).
