lagilmanwell, I got yesterday's writing done, and...
then the headache I'd woken up with took a left turn into a migraine, and the rest of the day was rather a lot of spamming Facebook/Twitter and waiting for the meds to kick in. Stupid migraine - nowhere near as horrible as the ones I used to get, but still work-interrupting. I did eventually finish up the blog post, and clear up the last of the copyedits....but the writers group was a total loss, as the Very Last Thing I was about to do yesterday was get on a damned subway.
I love me some mass transit, but not when I have a migraine, no.
Today, the head still aches, but I have a Very Important Lunch Date, and then will probably hole up in a quiet cafe somewhere (yay NYC w/ its alternatives to noisy Starbucks!) and work until it's time for the readings @ KGB tonight. Or I may come home and take more meds. We'll see how things go.
(Rose -- ping me during the afternoon to confirm/deny KGB?)
And at some point this week I have to decide on what cookies to make. What do you guys think -- cinnamon-sugar or chocolate drops?
