aw, thanks. But seriously, it's not that I'm dissing my work but acknowledging that two Very Good, Very Popular (damn that steampunk timing, anyway) novels have pretty much swept me -- and a number of other excellent books -- off the table in many ways.

And good for them, but sucks to be us.
